FONT vs THE WORLD ??
This weekend we went to Fontainebleau for a short visit.. An adaptation weekend, after the months spent in Hueco.
The weather was perfect and friction sublime, but my form wasn't there.
After repeating some easier 7 's, i decided to spend some time on my projects for 2011.
Starting with Karma for me and Magic Bus for Nataleigh on Saturday. Karma is the main project for me for the next months and i think this is a boulder that needs worked.
The first move felt easier than last time i tried but i still couldn't place the major left heel hook :/.
Then on Sunday we spent 4 hours in the packed Bas Cuvier,
going on and forth between Apotheose to Hypothese.
At one point i got really close on both but no send.. I'm not unhappy because all the moves felt easier then last year so i have my hopes up for the next weeks....Nataleigh did some really nice attempts in l'angle incarné.

One thing was clear, the grades in Fontainebleau are harder then anywhere else we had been this year.
Most problems i have tried in Hueco, Hampi, Magic woods, Albarracin, Spitz...are at least half a grade maybe some even an entire grade easier than in Fontainebleau.
Some say it just a style difference others would say its a cultural thing (?!).
Whatever the answer is, one thing is very obvious... font is hard!
Although it would be nice to have the same grades wherever you go
but i guess that's just impossible.
