Bishop

All the stories about the beauty and magic of Bishop are true,sadly we only got to spend 7 days there.
The "Buttermilks" has the most beautiful panoramic view you will see on our planet, immaculate coarse granite blocs surrounded by snowy mountaintops. Some of the classics i managed to climb here and recommend: "Soulslinger" and "Tall guy" both tall and proud climbs that go around 7c. The rock can have sharp granite crystals so prepare your skin!
The Vulcanic tablelands with the Happies and Sads boulderfields are a contrast for the skin and muscles. This type of climbing, being more athletic suited me quite well as i managed to climb "Kill on sight" graded 8a+ very fast.
On rest days you can visit the hot springs at "Keough's" about 5 miles from Bishop's town center and give your muscles some well deserved rest.
