La maschette

He guys,

just back from another weekend font. Weather started out horribly and so did the climbing.
Thursday and Friday it rained but in between the showers we managed to do some attempts, but of no avail because the conditions were bad. I had been feeling a bit sick anyway so i decided to just try some stuff i didn't know yet.
We set out to find " le pilier du desert" a 7c/+ that looked awesome on some pics and turned out to be a five stars boulder.
It starts with a jump into compression out to a dyno, i would really love to go try this one when its dry.
We went back to "Cassepot Rocher grises", to look at "Synapses" 8a another really impressive block that i would love to climb.
Finally on Saturday the weather started to improve and we met up with Gabi Pavel. He wanted to go climb in "Rocher Canon", me and Nat decided to go spot him on his project: "La maschette" 8a, this would be Gaby's first 8a.
I decided to try with Gabi and after a couple of goes i stood on top, this weekend had just taken a turn for the better :D.
After an hour or so more i heard Gaby shouting with joy on top of his first 8a!
We called it a day, and head to bed.
Next morning, the heat was on, temperature had risen by about 10 degrees... We set of for "Rocher de la Reine", because this was a sector i had not climbed many boulders before.
I managed to climb about 10 new 7th grades, of which one 7b+ in my anti-style (on small sharp crimps) with hardly any repeats.
We all had an amazing climbing day, no projecting but just cruising :D.
